Silk Explorers
Silk Explorer is a learning tool for the kids visitors of Museo della Seta di Como. It was divided by chapters, each corresponding to a step of the silk process that is explained on the museum tour, which allows the kids to better understand the concepts and discover the hidden heritage stories proposed by the museum.

The research process
To understand the end users, it was first necessary to understand the context in which the experience would take place. Mapping the museum's system revealed how experiences function within the museum and where the innovation could be introduced. User research was then conducted to identify the best tools to meet the needs of the end users: children who would participate in school visits to the museum.

children in play-based programs show more rapid gains in vocabulary, problem-solving skills, and symbolic thinking.
The Prototyping process
This complete experience includes two screens that interact simultaneously and are operated by a teacher and the children. Wireframes were needed to replicate that interaction. These wireframes were tested with experts and users, who provided insights on the adjustments needed for the final high-fidelity prototype.
