Net Zero Cities Hub
The NetZeroCities initiative of the European Union is part of the EU’s broader goal to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Through the Mission on Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities, it supports 112 selected cities in reducing greenhouse gas emissions by providing funding, resources, and strategic support to implement sustainable urban transformations.
The objective was to design a digital hub for the development of a learning community of cities committed to climate neutrality. The focus were on the cities that are going to enter in the program, so they can have a platform that makes the experience of enlisting more comfortable and easy to understand.

The research process
To understand how to design the steps for a city planning to enter the program, we reviewed FAQs from city delegates and analyzed the challenges they faced when enrolling in the program under the current process.
A benchmarking analysis was also conducted to understand market trends in two specific areas: collaborative learning and forums.
