Luma
This installation seeks to immerse the user in an experience that allows people to re-live the memory of a past journey. The personal dome displays a selection of colors translated from an image of a past trip the person has taken, allowing them to experience the feelings felt during the travel, reflect on it, play and share it with other people in the installation.

How do people interact with Luma?
Meditative place - immersing in a rainy room both from a visual and aural point of view. People interact with Luma by twirling, grabbing and moving it around, following the natural behaviour that they normally would have with another umbrella.
How does the umbrella
resemble a human?
The dome it is personal, safe and warm space that allows people to connect. Follows also the tendency to selectively recall memories that are congruent with a current emotional state. Luma proposes an experience of the senses that opens the space for the reflection of memory with the sound of the rain, and the lights that resemble a living breath.
